chronological day 205 :)

Okay, here’s what we’re reading today: Isaiah 44:6-28, Isaiah 45, 46, 47, and 48:1-11.  Do you have a highlight to share?  Here’s mine:

“Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other” (Isaiah 45:22 NKJV)

He’s always ready to save us! Praying to idols or looking to any other source is worthless.

“Now listen to me: You’re a hardheaded bunch and hard to help. I’m ready to help you right now. Deliverance is not a long-range plan. Salvation isn’t on hold. I’m putting salvation to work in Zion now, and glory in Israel” (Isaiah 46:12-13 MSG)

We might think that we are the ones who wait, but really it is God Who is waiting on us to turn to Him – salvation is not on hold, He is READY!

I read this yesterday and decided to write this morning. Mostly due to thinking which part captured me the most. It all did! I know as a Christian I should say the whole bible is capturing me but I’d be lying, my brain let’s me read and I translate it the best way possible and call it a day and then theirs reading like yesterday Isaiah 44-48, let’s start with 44:22 “Isaiah 44:22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return to me; for I have redeemed you”. I’ve used this in my testimony because it’s so dear to my heart. I’ll explain further down the road. Then there’s 48:11, “I will rescue you for my sake, yes, my sake only! I will not let my reputation be tarnished, and I will not share my glory with idols”! So true! Wooden carvings and stone statues did not make the miracles I see before me. Now they are a reminder of who did but I will give you GOD my only GOD all the glory. AMEN!!! For an awesome reading.
