chronological day 62 :)

Please read Numbers 14 and 15. Are you finding Numbers easier than Leviticus?  🙂 I hope so!  Here are my thoughts – comment below with one of your own!

“Now let the power of the Master expand, enlarge itself greatly” (14:17 MSG)

Amen. What a prayer – with God, there is always MORE! It’s a comfort that God still stayed with the children of Israel, even after all their grumblings and lack of gratitude and disobedience (and the list goes on – I wasn’t even there, and sometimes I find myself growing weary of them too).

“I am your God who rescued you from the land of Egypt to be your personal God. Yes, I am God, your God” (15:41 MSG)

God reveals His purpose again here” He rescued them to be their personal God – and even their own disobedience could not change His plan or alter His character.  God refuses to let us go. Thank You, Lord, for Your great faithfulness!

  1. Ralph Madrigal says:

    Numbers 14:40
Then they got up early the next morning and went to the top of the range of hills. “Let’s go,” they said. “We realize that we have sinned, but now we are ready to enter the land the LORD has promised us.”

Today’s takeaway: when we decide we know where our promised land is then why rely on the lord? Let us rely on our own judgement! Who’s with me? Now that we got that out of our system let’s come back to our senses. The Lord will not abandon us so why abandon his guidance, but in reading these last few chapters he will punish the guilty. I reiterate Mrs. Jennifer’s words, Thank you GOD for not abandoning us even though we are sometimes stubborn.
