Please read Numbers 7 (before you get too excited, it’s a pretty long chapter, LOL!). Come on back and let’s talk. I’d love to hear what stood out to you in today’s reading!
God is all about details and specifics – He desires intimacy with us today. Let’s not use grace as an excuse to become spiritually “lazy” – Father, help me get busy about details in my own life and relationships!
“When Moses entered the Tent of Meeting to speak with God, he heard the Voice speaking to him from between the two angel-cherubim above the Atonement-Cover on the Chest of The Testimony. He spoke with him” (Numbers 7:89 MSG)
What a gift!
Phew! I am just so grateful that God sent His son, Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice!

I was wondering why the Kohathites had to carry the sacred Tabernacle utensils and were not able to squeeze them into one of the wagons. Feeling badly for them I decided to research this. Interesting finding……remember I’m new to the Bible so if I seem excited about this forgive me. Ready for the answer? All the parts of the tabernacle and the arc were transported and set up using the wagons and oxen so by the time the Kohathites arrived with the smaller sacred furniture or utensils the tabernacle was already set up ahead of time. Every portion of the set up and breakdown was methodically thought out. Today’s takeaway: when you feel you got the short end of the stick, take a step back and realize that your feet are planted where they are needed at that time.
