Please read Exodus chapters 10, 11 and 12, and then let’s visit!
“Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. He said to them, ‘Go ahead then. Go worship your God. But just who exactly is going with you?’ Moses said, ‘We’re taking young and old, sons and daughters, flocks and herds—this is our worship-celebration of God.’ ” (Exodus 10:9 MSG).
It stands out to me today that Moses included everyone in worship – children and all. We are to share the blessings of God, share worship, share God’s truth – and make sure that all generations come alongside. Of course, this is not the moment that Pharaoh releases God’s people, but this example is not to be overlooked!
Just who exactly is going with you? Make sure that, like Moses, you are sharing the goodness of the Lord with everyone within your sphere of influence!
I thank we are like Pharaoh in a sense that as long as we are sitting in our air conditioned house in our comfortable chairs with our bellies full we do not care what happens to our neighbors. Pharaoh did not think too much about letting the Israelites go until it directly affected him with the death of his first born. How much do we suffer with our neighbors? We watch the news everyday and say, wow that is too bad, but how many of us pick up our Todd and go out and try to change the suffering, I know I could be slot better in this area…..

In reading this mornings chapters I have to ask how much has to happen to one individual to grab their attention. The subtle things we see daily are there but become clouded in our daily routine. I pray today dear GOD that you help me see the signs so as not to harden my heart or soul to become a better Christian. I agree with the two previous comments from Jennifer and David, sharing our praise to the lord and getting others involved is what GOD wants.
